Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed how much Bitcoin (BTC) he owns

After the author of the iconic Harry Potter book series asked Crypto Twitter to help her understand Bitcoin, Elon Musk also stepped in, confessing that he still owns some BTC fractions.

In a heated discussion that came up on Twitter after Harry Potter author JK Rowling asked the community for clarification on what Bitcoin is, many of the top Bitcoiners tried to do just that.

Among them were VanEck's director of digital assets, Gabor Gurbacs, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

The latter appears to be a bit of a Bitcoin fanatic and admits there are BTC benefits against the current uninterrupted QE initiated by President Trump and the Federal Reserve.

Musk even revealed how much Bitcoin he still owns.

While he told JK Rowling that, despite somewhat vague explanations from Bitcoin geeks, "BTC looks solid compared to the massive currency issue by government central banks," Elon Musk admitted that he still owns a quarter of a Bitcoin.

However, he still doesn't seem to be in a rush to buy more BTC.

As previously reported, Elon Musk tweeted that he was about to sell all of his physical assets, including his home.

Now, after his confession about keeping his 0.25 BTC, a joking tweet appeared saying that Elon Musk had sold his houses but was still sitting on his Bitcoin.

Gabor Gurbacs: "Bitcoin likes more those who run full nodes than celebrities"

The VanEck cryptocurrency expert went to Twitter to share his attitude towards the author of Harry Potter by asking questions about Bitcoin. However, unlike many other Bitcoiners, Gurbacs are not as excited or impressed at all.

"JK Rowling is less important to #Bitcoin than the random boy / girl who runs an entire node in a small village."

He has stated that celebrities don't make much difference to Bitcoin in the long term and that anyone running a full BTC node is much more important to the network.

"Bitcoin likes those running full nodes more than celebrities."

Vijay Boyapati, a senior IT developer at Peach Inc, has told his 31,800 followers that every time someone famous starts talking about Bitcoin on Twitter, they are likely to bring in a bull market.

Although she doesn't directly mention JK Rowling, it is quite possible that she was the creator of Harry Potter that Boyapati had in mind.
